What Kind of Computer?

The kind of computer will depend on the education. Audio or graphical editing might require a higher end computer than someone that would use their system to write essays, or visit Youtube on their free time. There will be a minimum set of standards for a computer, and this computer must be able to work fro 12+ years in order to provide one system to a 1st grader, and that same computer will be used before graduation of the 12th grade. With that said, KCI will produce an education edition of their notebook PCs. This will allow for the specs that would be needed. This minimum set of standards will require 2 NVME drives, an SD card reader, and a micro-SD card slot within the SIM tray. The micro-SD will provide for files that would remain on the PC since ejecting SIM trays is not a good idea to do daily. The SD card reader will function for more distribution of files.

Kal-OS will be the default OS. There is some similarity with Linux, but will have a feature from Windows, and will operate the system. The student will use their computer’s installed applications to perform their work duties. The OS will carry on with the student, and therefore likely to be the OS they will use when exiting the education system.
