There will be a few ways to reach the Ministry of Education, and various institutions that are under the control of the Ministry. All of the options are noted as below:
- Fax Line: +883 100 338 000 000
- Telephone line: +883 100 338 000 001
- Kaldus University Fax: +883 100 338 000 010
- Kaldus University Voice: +883 100 338 000 011
- Kaldus University: ku.edu.ka
- School’s website: School-ID.edu.ka
- School Resources: School-ID.edu.ka/res
- School store (faculty/students only): store.edu.ka
- Faculty/Student email address: NIN@edu.ka
While it would be nice if each school can have a telephone number under the same numbering system as the Ministry of Education, this is simply not possible. This is because the school’s ID number is 5 digits, and the most that can be adjusted is 3 digits. With that said, there is no way to include the telephone numbers in the same settings as the Ministry of Education. With that said, the school will have to get a specialized number.
Kaldus University will have its own dedicated telephone numbers, and its own dedicated sub-domain website. This will allow Kaldus University to promote the school not only within Kaldus, but hopefully attract foreign students. In addition, all grade schools are given a unique number. This is the county number + a 5 digit number. This will allow the school to promote their school, and make an effort to provide all of the needs for the students, and aids for the faculty. The school resources site will provide tips, and aids for the students so they can make the most of their education. The school store will require that the faculty/student enters their NIN, and school password. This is to assure that no one accesses the school store if they aren’t involved with the school.
All faculty, and student will receive an email address. If Apple recognizes edu.ka as a school email address, then this email address can be used to get discounted items from Apple. While they can choose to buy an Apple computer, a KCI notebook will be issued to every student.
Grade Schools
Since the grade school is a localized school, the local government is responsible for providing a telephone number for that particular school. For example, the first county alphabetically will be assigned 101 telephone numbers. A school might therefore have a telephone number of +883 101 338 001 001. As you can see, this number is a local government number, and the 338 is to identify that it is a school. This would only apply to grade schools. Trade schools will have a company based telephone number, and their numbers will begin with n00.
