Online schools will focus on K12 education as well as collegiate education which will provide 2 – 4 year majors. Online schools will be required to meet a minimum standard that will comply with the Department of Education. This is to assure that the school will perform as expected.
In the case of K12 education, this will require the standards that are held nationally. This means they are receiving the same quality of education as if the student was going to a physical location.
In the case of higher education, the school must support providing educational material through the National Library. This assures that the student can use the same ebook reader they used in K12 schools. Also, the online school must support the computer standards unless the course can’t have the requirements met by using the computer standards.
